Directions to MVGS

If you decide to join us for a monthly meeting or to explore our research library, we are located at Hollin Hall Senior Center, 1500 Shenandoah Road, Alexandria, Virginia 22308.

If you are arriving from the north (Alexandria/495) exit toward Route 1 South. Almost immediately after turning off the freeway south on Route 1, turn left on State Road 629/Fort Hunt Road. 3.5 miles later turn right on Shenandoah Road. MVGS is the first building on your right after Hollin Hall shopping center.

If arriving from the south on Route 1 or VA-286 South/Fairfax County Pkwy, proceed 5 miles north from the 286 and Route 1 intersection, past Fort Belvoir and Mount Vernon to Sherwood Hall Lane (COSTCO on left). Proceed 1.7 miles and merge right to Fort Hunt Road. 7/10 mile turn right on Shenandoah Road. MVGS is the first building on your right after Hollin Hall shopping center.

For you map readers below is a map of our location. Hollin Hall is located in the Fort Hunt residential area, near the intersection of Ft Hunt Road and Shenandoah Road, We are just west of the small shopping center on Ft Hunt and Shenandoah Roads with the great pastry shop.
